Location right in the middle of city, where all the shops & supermarkets are. Train station is a minute's walk. Staff were friendly. Rooms were clean, a little cramped...but we didn't go to Vienna to live in a hotel room. If location is key, you can't beat this hotel.

Brilliant location - would definitely recommend for location alone. Very friendly staff especially the girl on reception and the lady on duty during breakfast in dining room. A bit noisy early mornings when bins were being collected. Have alredy recommended it for friends who are travelling to Vienna early 2008.

Breakfast was Ok but not as good as in many other austrian hotels. Location is fantastic for the price

Brilliant! OK so the rooms are not the biggest - but very comfortable. On a side street off a pedestrianised area, so relatively quiet for a city centre location. 20m from the main shopping area; 100m from the underground; 200m from the mediaeval area; 400m from the Imperial area. All the staff were extremely helpful, and the hotel was spotless. Thoroughly recommended.

The Graben is very central - guests can walk to all the main tourist sites in Vienna. While older and of smaller size this hotel is a real find, with friendly service and we highly recommend it
