Nice cheap little hotel, very basic room, which was very clean, friendly staff, only thing was that the room we had did not come with on-suite which I didn't realise at time on booking, wouldn't have a problem staying here again if I needed too, Very close to the railway station and Dom.

Situated 2 minutes from the Cathedral and Cologne HBF the Hotel is exceptional value of money. It is also very close to a great Pub called Barney Valleys - if you get the chance visit Charlie and Robbie at Barney's and they will make you very welcome.

Very convenient for city centre and the Dom and railway station. Room was basic but it was clean and tidy; no toilet nor washing facilities in room but the gents and ladies toilets and showers along the corridor were very clean; breakfasts were minimal (for us) and breakfast room itself was small, we had to share a table which was fine; our room faced the street which can be noisy but with the window closed, it was fine as well; forewarned we took ear plugs but never used them. For our short stay it suited us just fine and would use again.

The hotel looked more like a hostel inside and outside. We weren't told that there were no toilets in the room - instead there was a wc/shower block on our corridor. Beds were really comfy but the room was extremely basic. Breakfast included which made it more worthwhile.

The curtains smelled of tobacco and the breakfast was rather unimaginative. However, the price was cheap and the staff very friendly and helpful
