A vast improvement on the last time I stayed there. Hotels in Perth are an absolute rip-off, which is why establishments like this one can get away with mediocre facilities, service etc.

reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room we had was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely stay there next time we go to Perth. We would recommend this hotel to any one looking for a reasonably cheap comfortable place to stay. The only down side was that the room was full of mosquitos when we arrived.

Paid for a 2BR apartment. However this is quite small, and No balcony. Also we couldn't open the window on the first 2days, and the guy from reception couldn't help us. We requested to change room as it was very smell and hot inside, but they said that they would charge us extra. We didn't agree, then finally they asked someone to come up and tried to open the window for us. It was better than before that, however still not comfortable! Also here is only 1 VERY SMALL bathroom with very basic amenities. Staffs are not helpful, and the cleaners left rubbish bags in the room after they left. Disappointed!

Not the latest in design and decor but with a kitchen, bathroom, dining area, lounge/bedroom it has everything you need for a cheap and comfortable stay. Loved the Food to Go - eat in your room or in the small informal cafe style area- very reasonable prices and good freshly cooked food. If you stay longer there are great pre-packed food boxes to purchase in the snack bar to heat up in your room. Breakfast substantial and good. Only GRIPE is the INEQUALITY in parking. We arrived early and got a free parking spot in the underground parking area but had to go out and so lost our spot. Then had to pay $22 to park over the road in "sister hotel" car park as all onroad free parking was taken up on a Saturday night. Even so it was still good value compared to nearby hotels.

We have stayed at this Perth city hotel a few times over the years. Four of us - Dad, Mum and 2 big teenagers- arrived late knowing there was 24 hour reception and free car parking. The girl at reception was very ordinary and there was absolutely no carparking available. We were told to park out on the street (St. Georges Terrace) and move it before 7.30am or it will be towed... or pay an extra $22 and park it at another hotel nearby. Our bathroom / toilet is 200 cms higher than the hotel room floor and there is no help to climb up - NO assistance at all if you are disabled. There is no power point near the bed for use of a CPAP machine at night. The reception girl would not organise delivery to our room of an extension lead to plug the breathing apparatus in. My wife had to go down to reception in her pyjamas to sort it out. There were only 3 bath towels in our room even though we paid for 4 persons. By the time the extra towel arrived we needed a later checkout, and we arrived late for a nearby appointment in the city. We could have stayed at another hotel and had breakfast included for the same price we paid. Very disappointing.

As a hotel guest, I didn't expect I was being yelled by the hotel staff. He said i should "MOVE OUT" the hotel if I do not like the service here...On June 30,2012, there was no hot water supply at around 8 pm, and I was in the middle of the shower...I called the front desk and kept on waiting for the hot water...Until at around 10:30pm, I called the front desk, the hotel staff asked me to keep on waiting and didn't give us any actual help. he also raised up his voice and tell me not to complain anymore and if i don't like the service here then i can move out in the middle of the night. After that night, I wrote the complaint letter to the General Manager about it, there hadn't have any reply, not even a short apology memo...I am sure my family will not stay in this hotel again!!!!!

Arrived on Sunday evening. When I got to my room the noise was such that it felt like a college dorm. This increased to an unacceptable level. Could hear the conversation from the next door room very clearly. Finally went quiet at 1.45am. Room Service you had to pick it up yourself. Amazing for the amount I was paying. Monday night, the noise was only until 1am. I certainly won't be returning.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location suited our needs to get to the theatre easily by taxi. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Secure and FREE under-cover parking an absolute bonus in the city !!

Very basic hotel for $270 per night. Lifts to carpark don't operate until 6am in the morning. Perth is very expensive for Hotels but $270 per night for an average hotel that doesn't eve have a mini bar is pretty rich. The location is in Perth CBD about 3-4 blocks from shops.

We expected budget-type accommodation and were very pleasantly surprised: clean and comfortable room with great views of the Swan River, very friendly staff. Decor is dated but location is good with free buses almost at the door, and cafes and restaurants within easy walk. Dinner relatively pricey but that's Perth - very acceptable food and good service.
