We needed to place to stay and saw this place it looked decent but it should say that it's right next to a nude bar plus apon arrival to our room you immediately smelled the smoke of cigaretts that was still in the room it was so unbearable I had to call the front rest and asked to be switched to a different room, he was understanding and immediately changed our room upon entering that room we noticed the tv was not working so again we had to give the front desk a call for them to fix it, something guest shouldn't have to do! Taking a shower was a pain since there is a limited amount of hot water we got nothing but cold water. The walls are also very thin the whole night we heard the people next door chatting up the night. Don't think I'll ever stay here again!

The location is good, but not great. There's a strip joint almost next to it. On the good side, Seaworld is less than 4 miles away. The rooms are clean enough, the staff is great and the parking feels secure.

I always stay here at this time of year as the location is good and the price is unbeatable. The area looks a bit seedy but I always have found it safe, and the hotel is constantly improving its amenities and comfort. An easy 10 minutes walk from the trolley station and Old Town, and quite a few shops and restaurants within 10-15 mins walk if you know where to wander. With a car, even easier

I stayed at this place for a holiday weekend and got the surprise of my life when I woke up the first morning when I saw bug bites all over my entire body I went to the front desk to complain but they gave me the cold shoulder and the number of the main customer service they couldnt change my room becuase they were all booked but they also refused to give me refund to find another room at a different hotel!!! this place is the worst...its notorious for drug dealers, hookers and meth heads! all hours of the nite you see johns go in and out of rooms after hours of banging on the walls and arguing over money along with pimps smoking marijuana in the hallways and meth heads walking around the parking lot looking for cars to break in. The worst place to stay!!!

Although my daughter and I were only staying for one night we thought we couls catch some nie zz's. But to my surprise the inn was located behind a nude bar and the other guests were not considerate. The other guests were extremely noisy and were listening to heir music very loudly. Our heater was also not in working condition and only blew out cold air Aside from the other guests and issues, parking was easy. It was centrally located to the frewway and the staff was very helpful. Especially considering they gave us a single bed room when we had reserved for a double bed. But the matter was resolved quickly.

oh boy oh boy do i have a lot to say about this experience.... NEVER AGAIN!!... Room smelled a little, linens and pillows also smelled, bed was kind of hard, rug was super dirty that my husband and i wore our slippers the whole time in the room because we were so grossed out, water from faucet was too powerful that when you turn on the water, it splatters all over you, parking was terrible (some people do have big cars you know), location was so ghetto (strip clubs across the street)... even Denny's across the street was ghetto, other guests didn't have any common courtesy to let others sleep...people hung outside other peoples room doors and talked and joked around like no one else was around, people running upstairs like no one is downstairs trying to sleep... like i said... NEVER AGAIN!!!!

It was just what we needed. I traveled with my man, we were looking for somewhere cheap and well located. And, it was the case with this hotel. It is nearby SeaWorld. We stayed for 4 nights after traveling around in California. And the best thing is we could do a wash machine for really good price, less than 2 dollars. I recommend this hotel if you need something cheap and well located.

It was a good location very close to the Down town and to the sea world, but I would not recommend it to anyone. the beds are hard, old pelows, dirty carpet. and they lied about the water package. It's at the back of night club.

We where looking for a cheap hotel to stay in San Diego. I picked the Good Nite Inn because of its price and was surprised to find out how close it was to everything. In a great location, the staff is very knowledgeable of the city, and went out of their way help me find the closes bank.

The location is close to Old Town and trolleys into town. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but is quiet at night and just fine. Tasty food within walking distance and you can walk to Old Town. Room was very nice and clean for e money.

Motel staff were friendly and knowledgable. Motel was relatively clean for the price but location is not very good. You'd have to walk a good 10 minutes before reaching the transit center. Best to drive.

We booked the room because it was closer to the venues I was going to visit like Old Town and Mission Bay area. Everything was great until we opened the door to our room. The smell of mildew was apparent but tolerable w an open window. It was 11pm and we just finished hitting some bars and restaurants w friends so we wer tired and didn't want to bother getting another room at that hour. An hour later in bed watching T.V we hear shouting and fighting from upstairs this goes on for 20 minutes until I ask the front desk to check up on it. 20 minutes go by and nothing..people still arguing about who stole whose meth and finally they get there and shut them up. We then spent the whole nite tossing & turning for no reason except probably the mattresses were maybe too hard I'm assuming at 3 am right? We finally got woken up to screaming and banging by our friendly meth addict neighbors at 8am and I tell my wife "We should just get the F%&! out of here & get some breakfast and forget this whole experience!" Well I'm on my way to the bathroom for a shower when my wife says "WTF happend to your back?" I say what do you mean? I walk over to the mirror and find what looks like bug bites all over my back and legs & torso! My wife jumps out of bed screaming and turns on the lights We take the sheets and blankets off the bed and find bed bugs right where we had been sleeping! At this point we grab all our belongings & put them on the desk away from the bed & carpet. We both hop in the shower & blast away w hot water..we then grab the towels and make a trail on the floor to our belongings and inspect every bag & piece of clothing. We then get dressed & rush down to the receptionist and explain our ordeal and she scoffs at the idea that they have bed bugs. I then grab a coffee cup and run upstairs and scoop up 3 bed bugs and show them too her. She then shrugs her shoulders and tells me she cant do anything about it and asks me to call the manager Monday morning. The next morning I explain the situation to another clerk and I ask for the manager or a refund or credit towards another branch hotel he tells me to wait for a call from the manager because the manager is not there at the moment . 2 days later nada..lol In this economy every business has to take care of their customers and the customers will take care of the business. but this hotel does not care for the health and hospitality of its customers so here I am giving everyone the 411 on this bed bug drug infested dump. BUYER BEWARE!!!

its nice for the price paid. i think the room was clean and smoke smell free. i will give 4out of 5 for this. the people in reception called me up early in the morning for my flight. what is written in the package is there. not a penny more or less. i would have really liked if there was a free internet facility.

This time we did not go to seaworld we went to Lego land instead, if you are planning to go to seaworld this is the place to be the staff is very helpful. The rooms are a little old but to be honest we only were there to sleep. The location is great if you want to check out the whole city. I will go back to this hotel it definitely serves it's purpose if you only need a place to sleep while you are there. The tv was a little disappointing there was no channel for my daughter to watch like Disney or nickolodian. Surely a great deal. P.S. I wish there was a microwave in the room

I took my wife to sea world, a few beaches, farmers market, midway museum and fishing. If the hotel had a pool, my wife would have been 100% happier, we dont swim in the ocean, shes too afraid of sharks and sea weed. This was our first trip together since we have been together.
