Location
For guests arriving at Zurich airport the Golden Sword is eleven kilometers away and accessible by car and public transport. The eight minute tram ride from the hotel to the railway station will provide guests with connections to the panoramic views from the top of Atzmannig and the seven hundred metre giant slide, suitable for all ages.

Goldenes Schwert Hotel Zurich Guest Reviews
Location is in mid of old town of Zurich, which is nice but as well quite loud with respect to the music of the nearby bars.

I now realize the Hotel Goldenes Schwert is not the same as the cheaper Residence Goldenes Schwert: the hotel rooms have their own toilet and bathtub, the rooms in the Residence 100 yards away have a shower but the toilet is on the corridor. For the rest the infrastructure is comparable. There may be noise from rock music in the basement in both places: we're in the middle of a very cosy Zürich club district.

Great hotel if you dont mind listening to YMCA and other dance tracks throughout the night. Service was great.

Terrible noise that was caused by people the next door and night club in the downstairs. Could not sleep well even with earplugs provided by the hotel. Even we had non-smoking room tobacco was smelling there very strongly, especially nightly. Probably it was because of conditioning system. Anyway the location of the hotel was good and room beautuful but otherwise we are quite disappointed.

Location is great. However, the club dowstairs makes it really dificult to sleep. Would not stay there again.
