I can not agree with the negative reviews I have read about the standard of the Golden Tulip Seeb. Our impressions were very positive overall. The room (312) was spacious, clean and neat with all amenities expected. The food served in the restaurant was very good and the wine list included selections from regions around the world at reasonable prices. The buffet breakfast provided extensive choice. While we did not use the swimming pool it looked clean and inviting. The location is well out of town (Muscat) but it was good for our onward trip into the interior of Oman. I would therefore recommend this hotel to friends and [your website] members.

Very convenient for the airport and a good starting point for a motoring holiday in Muscat. The rooms do look a bit tired though.

Ideally situated for the airport and the pool and restaraunt were very good but the room smelled, the carpet was lifting in a dozen places causing a tripping hazzard, we booked a triple room but it took me over 2 hours to get someone to come and set up a bed for my daughter, which involved 3 trips down to reception as they do not answer the phone, they eventually came but by this time it was 1.30 am so i gave up waiting for someone else to come and unlock the mini bar and went to bed. O.K. for 1 night but very overpriced.
