Location just a bit far from Cairo centre. Excellent service and good value food.

Location is some distance from 'Downtown' but within a reasonable distance of tourist attractions by taxi. The service was excellent, especially the Reception staff who were polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide choice of foods including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes, fruit, meats, etc. Hotel quiet at night.

The organised tours offered, whilst more expensive than what is available elsewhere, are worth the extra money. The tour guides are more knowledgeable and flexible, and speak better english than other guided tours we have been on in Egypt. The restaurant on the 10th floor has a great view over the Nile and the food is OK but not fantastic. Many of the rooms have been newly renovated, and renovations are under way for the others (although we were not disturbed in any way by the renovation work).

rooms very disappointing; small, old fashioned, almost worn-out. Location however great. Ask for better rooms, e.g. on business floor.

Lifts were slow and air conditioning was not brilliant. Rooms and bathrooms were good size. Breakfast variety was good. At the end of the day if you want somewhere clean, safe, resoanably priced and in a quieter neighbourhood of Cairo, Flamenco is perfect for your needs. However if you are a fussy traveller and want a upper class hotel, with a pool and cable tv, you'll need to increase your budget and opt for a 5*!

This hotel has a very good location, price and buffet breakfast. But the problem is they are so slow in customer service. The room that I was in was creepy, dusty and old aside from the TV cable which is not working. When I called for service repair, it took them an hour before the staff came. I have to call the reception 3 times just to follow up. Likewise, there were 2 ACs in the room and both are not giving cold temperature. I would suggest they need to renovate their rooms to make it more presentable and provide good training in terms of customer service for their staff.

This hotel was good value. Everything worked well and the room service food, especially the fish, was excellent and arrived hot. Recommended.

Good hotel with clean rooms. The female staff during breakfast sometimes was a bit grumpy. They tend to clean our breakfast table before we completely finished our breakfast. Breakfast was good though! After our last day of a 3 nights stay the reception staff gave us the possibillety to take a shower after checking out. Good service! Overall we were very satisfied.

not accesable by bus and metro by now so, only Taxi. So, it was too far from downtown under the terrible traffic and must-to-do-continued haggling and overchaging.

The shower pipes were not working properly, no wifi connectivity in the rooms. The service in the Brakfast tables are not good, everyone looks very serious and need to ask more than one time to get something done. the hotel is good.

For a Cairo hotel in the price range this is good value. The usual Egyptian problems of things not working(lights, T.V.) but acceptable overall. The lower floors have quite a bit of street noise but this calms down after midnight. The restaurant does a decent breakfast but is not so good value in the evening and only serves canned beer(avoid!)

the hotel is good for the price & location is good too, but be carfull with the room type/location, the one we got is not recommended, i.e first floor & not facing the nile.

A decent enough hotel for this price range with helpful staff and clean facilities. Clean but small bathrooms. I don't think anywhere in Cairo is "quiet", however, this hotel was located in a less noisy area, though not a lot to offer within walking distance. Major Cairo attractions a short cab ride away subject to local traffic.

I stayed at the hotel with my children aged 3 and 12 and it worked out fine. The staff are helpful and the neighbourhood is convenient if you prefer to walk and not depend on other kinds of transportation.
