Surrounded by the famous shopping malls and jewelry shops, the Golden Tulip Andalusia Hotel is located in the heart of the business district in Riyadh in Olaya. The hotel is becoming quite tired. The airconditioning didn't work properly - not what one needs in 46 degree heat. Following the saem problem, there was no cold water in the shower. Given the price, this really is unacceptable.

Overall the hotel was fine, albeit a bit shabby in places. We had some difficulty finding a non-smoking room for an asthmatic colleague, although the staff were very helpful at all times and it was resolved satisfactorily in the end. The executive lounge facilities are very useful and probably above average for this price.
