If you are looking for a 3 star Hotel with a 6 star service, this is the place for you. Close to the lake so if you get lost go to the lake. The staff here from the cleaners to management will do anything for you with a smile.We have travel most of the world and we have never had service like this. FREE laptop in each room.FREE snacks and water. Every thing you will need in the bathroom, toothbrush, razor etc. Internet in the lobby FREE printer. VERY very clean place and great breakfast and staff again serving you each morning with a smile.The owner of the Hotel gave 5 or more of her staff 2 days off to help us shop for things for the Bo De Pagoda orphanage which is not just an orphanage but for the old, disabled. If you stay here or are going past here stop in and give a little money to Ms Sunny who will see that your money goes to food, blankets etc. Try google Bo De Pagoda as I'm going to down load picture of the Golden Sun staff helping us to help the needie.

Golden Sun is only 3 min away from the lake, there's is also a night market nearby on x'mas eve, lots of shops around. The room is edequate but towels are not bleach white. People are friendly and helpful. The price is fair for the location and room.

Staff attitude is superb - try to meet and assist guest, they help me to buy DVD and ticket to the Water Puppet Show. The hotel get us a very comfortable SUV to airport for only 300k VnD vs aiport taxi 270 VnD. As we have to leave early, the staff pre-packed our breakfast for us to take on the journey.

My children and I rate this hotel and the staff as unbelieveable friendly. Nice, safe, clean and in the core center of Hanoi. Perfect for us.
