The room was not overly large but comfortable. The room had a recently remodeled clean feel to it that put it well above most value priced hotels that I have stayed in in Vegas. The price was the lowest offered for the week I was there, but the value for dollar was probably the highest. The hotel is off the strip, but close to the center of things. Since I had a car, it was only a few minutes drive to the Sands convention center or any of the strips attractions. I would happily stay there again.

Seems a little tatty around the edges. Could use some upgrades in decor and amenities

It wasn't the best or the worst room. But at the rate that I got it for, I most definately got what I paid for.

It wasn't excellent but it also wasn't too bad. It was worth the money that I paid for the room. I would stay there again as long as the price stays the same.

The hotel room and hallway area were very musty. The carpet was stained in our room, but seemed to be otherwise clean. The A/C barely worked & our room was uncomfortably warm the entire stay. Other than those issues everything was great.

I would never stay at Gold Coast again. Room was on bottom floor next to loading dock. Very noisy early in morning. Bathroom was small and in poor condition. Sink was cracked. Tub was discolored. Shouldn't rent these rooms if they are not on a par with the upper levels. Have to go through Casino to get anywhere in building. Smoke is intolerable, don't seem to have very good ventilation system for smoke removal. For the amount of money paid for room it was not worth it.

I was staying here to save $$$ and that I did! I was not disappointed. You get what you pay for. I was attending a conference at a hotel on the strip and they were charging more than double for the room fee per night than I paid here for both nights combined. I would definitely reconsider staying here for another conference in Vegas.

Nice place to stay off the strip. Nothing fancy but it's cheap and relatively clean, and the hotel seems less smokey then the nearby Rio. And the have a bowling alley, which was fun.

The room was acceptable, particularly if you just want to play the slots. If you also need to take care of business, it is below average. The internet connection for a hard line was 12 inches long with no place to place your labtop or to plug it in. If you choose the wireless option, it is difficult to get the code from their TV channel. This required 20 minutes of multiple tries before the TV could be enabled and when one signs in, there are multiple sites to connect to without guidance which is the correct one. All this costs $13/24 hours. Only bothered to do this once on a multiple day visit. If you want to go to other casinos in Vegas, you will likely have to wait quite awhile for a taxi to show-up. Walking next door to the Rio casino/hotel is the best way to get a Taxi as they have a steady flow of them morning, noon and night.

As a UK traveller this standard of this hotel if it was in the UK would be the talk of the town. The staff are Very Friendly, standard rooms and room size & cleanness 1st class. If you intend to be a return traveller to Las Vegas,I would highly recommend. On the basis that If your first stay was at a 4star plus hotel on the strip. Why pay Double to return when this hotel offers such good value. You can make Your money go much further & you dont have the Bawdyness of the Downtown area. Drink prices $3.25 for a vodka & coke. $9 for lunch time buffet & the variety is 1st class. I could rave on all day about the up-sides of this hotel. Because its how a value hotel should be run.

This was our 2nd stay at the Gold Coast and were as pleased as the first visit. The premium king room is an exceptional value if you stay Mon thru Thur. Only negative is; the pool does not have umbrellas for shade in the Vegas sun. The buffet is an excellent value. Will book here again

Nice and remodeled since the last time we were there. Very well ventilated for the smoke. I thought they changed to a smoke free casino until I saw people smoking. Everyone at TGI Friday's was so very nice no matter what time of day or night we went in. We went to the strip once for about an hour and couldn't wait to get back to our hotel where you had room to move around and didn't have to wait to use a machine. We've had our exciting crowded days on the strip. Let the younger crowd have it now. We'll be back to this slower pace and more relaxing hotel again soon.

The trip was to enjoy the nightlife. The front desk employee was rude and not helpful. I had confirmation paperwork for our reservation but was told I had no reservation. I had to wait, find help on my own and eventually was placed in a room that was in the furthest part of the hotel. Very dissatisfied and don't recommend Gold Coast Hotel to anyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room, staff and amenities were all top notch. Shuttle service to the strip was available and location to the strip was great. Slot machines were paying (sometimes) and table dealers were personable. We are returning in December for 2 weeks and will be staying here again.

We enjoyed the restaurants, especially the Buffet style breakfasts and dinners. Also, dinner at the Cortez Restaurant was superb. We have always enjoyed the more intimate atmosphere at the Gold Coast when gambling and dining during previous visits. This was our first hotel stay and we were pleased with the clean and spacious rooms that offered everything we needed.
