Gloucester Luk Kwok Hong Kong Hotel

The room was decent. However, the restaurant where breakfast is served is a tad noisy. Overall, quite ideal for businessmen due to the location.

I couldn't believe that the hotel was still using box televisions. The walldrobe space was insufficient for fitting two people's things. Also, bathrobes were only provided on request. However the cleaners were very friendly and helpful. I think that the room rate of A$202 is overpriced.

Very handy to the Convention Centre, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Also handy to the MTR. Nice room with all facilities provided, and very obliging staff. We will stay there again!

Very friendly and helpful. Only adverse comment is that internet was charged at 80 HK$ per day, very expensive. Other hotels in the area provide it for free. This may influence my decision to stay there next time. Otherwise a very good hotel.

my reservation was confirmed incorrectly so instead of a double non smoking room that I had requested I had been allocated a twin smoking room. Did not appreciate having to argue with front desk after 14 hour flight, though eventually they were able to accomodate me. hotel in good location and adequate for price, though the room service breakfast is really bad - I would recommend going to the Starbucks next door. Also there is a permanent musty smell about the place (particularly in the bedrooms) which you find in many HK hotels which are not top rate. service from porters was extremely good and helpful. In general an adequate hotel but don't expect many frills - you get what you pay for.

This is an old hotel with recent renovation.Excellent location.just 2 minutes to wanchai mtr, 5 minutes to exhibition center and 7 minutes to harbour by walking.I didn't use the hotel facilities so I cannot comment on but daily internet use was 80HKD(24 hours). The room was big enough in HK standards. The staff were very helpfull. I didn't take breakfast as I had a plenty of nice bakerys nearby such as delifrance, starbucks, olivers etc.I strongly recommend this hotel.

Hong Kong hotels are expensive, and this one is not an exception. However, for a middle-of-the-range type of place, it is highly recommendable. Rooms are clean and small little touches such as a fruit basket and slippers make life for business travellers just that small bit more pleasant. I will stay there again!

Luk Kwok is highly recommendable. The hotel is quiet and located in the middle of Wanchai. 3 minutes walk to MTR-station. Long stay packages should be available all the time.

You couldn´t find a better position for a hotel in Hong Kong. Buses, ferries, bars, restaurants are all on your doorstep. Very relaxed atmosphere and staff very unobtrusive. This is definitely the place for me when I return.

There nice hotel well located and easy to access too (MTR station near by). Helpful staff. No unpaid movie channel on TV which should not be the case.

The Hotel is in very good location to the HKG Convetion center and nightlife area. The rooms are clean and big enough. To MTR it is only 2 minutes to walk.

The restaurant in the hotel was good. Very elegant atmosphere. The room was ok sized. They could use better TV''s. Some of the televisions looked like they were from the 1960''s. Staff was very courteous, anytime we asked for anything they were at our door within minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Hong Kong.

Nice convenient location. A nice boss at restaurant at storey 2. I know him since he was in the Furama; a nice professional person indeed. Poor bar, too small . I mean the one at the top. Impossible to get client there for a confidential talk. Generally however all is fine.

Stuff in the hotel was O.K. but for the class which hotel pretend to be I found bad illumination in the lobby and other common rooms. I would prefer to stay in another hotel. I suggest to clean or change armchairs in the lobby and carpet on the floor in the corridors.

This is the best value for money hotel in my experience in Hong Kong. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who requires a good quality environment and easy access to Wanchai or Central.

Looks like the hotel was recently renovated top to bottom. Excellent a/c, heat, and hot water, comfortable bed, good sound control, all the hoped for amenities. Staff eager to please. I would have enjoyed a more extensive gym and livelier bar, but that would require a larger hotel. Extremely convenient to the Convention Center. Overall high marks.

Very good value for the money. Food/beverage facilities could be better but that is not a drawback given the room rate. Location also leaves a little to be desired but then if you taxi to your destinations during your stay that would not be an issue. Luk Kwok remains my hotel of choice for Hong Kong.

I cannot say enough about the hotel staff. They were attentive to all of my needs. The hotel is located in a good area, near many restaurants and shops. Also, the bus to the airport picks up right in front of the hotel.

Prior to my visit, I had read that Luk Kwok had received a make-over. Everything appeared very new and practically spotless. Most everything in the room could be controlled by a panel on the night stand next to the bed.

I would definitely recommend the Luk Kwok to anyone visiting Hong Kong. It is a very nice hotel.
