Excellent little motel with superb views of the glacier from your room. Very friendly owner with lots of help with suggestions of how best to fill your time there. Had dual aspect room which was lovely and bright even when it was cloudy outside. Would recommend this motel to those who want good clean basic accommodation in a wonderful location.

Clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular until the fog came in.

We found the motel to be clean & comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful with all our enquiries. The motel is only a couple of k's out if the actual town which makes it very quiet. Would happily stay there again.

Friendly reception. Great place for a quick overnight stay in the beautiful Franz Josef/Fox Glacier area, although room was equipped with a small kitchen.

We stayed at the Glacier View Motel for 2 nights and found the accomodation to be great. The units were very clean and comfortable and the view of the glacier from the front of our unit was nothing short of spectacular. Our hosts were very welcoming and most helpful in providing advice of what to see in the area. This spot provide to be was one of the most memorable stops on our 3 week tour of New Zealand and the motel is highly recommended
