Rooms very small(unlike photo) but some restaurants close by stayed open till late. About 5 mins walk from metro. Reception service a bit brusque. Would only accept payment in cash

This is a very secured and clean hotel. We arrived at 8am in the morning, our room wasnt ready. However the hotel staff still let us checked in because they had another room ready. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, and it was reasonably sized. The Vatican City is just 10mins walk from the hotel, so the location is great. There's also a subway station close by about 7 mins walk. Hotel staff spoke good English and was really helpful and friendly. I recommend Giuggioli Hotel.

Excellent location just about 800 yards from the Vatican with good access to everywhere worth visiting without having to travel long journeys in to the city each day. With hindsight, I would have hired a car at Ciampino on arrival rather than pay 50E taxi to hotel and then same back 3 days later for onward car hire for southern trip to Amalfi coast, pompei before returning car to Ciampino 5 days later.

Pros: Cute furnitures. Cons: Bit noisy, no glasses in the room (only thin prastic cups for mini-bar!!!), very tiny bathroom. No English TV available. No luggage room to keep the bag before departure... Considering the service level, donno why it is ranked as 3 star hotel...should be ranked as 2 stars.
