Gimmond Hotel Tokyo Guest Reviews

4 out of 5

I took a single room for one night only without breakfast nor meal at the hotel but here asr my mains fellings.I really appreciate the Hotel services and the avalaibility of the staff. The room are smallest but you find all you need. The hotal location is a little beat out of the city but the price for a town like Tokyo is very cheap and easly balanced the situation. I can recommand the Gimmond hotel for a shorp trip less than 5 days.

The service and standard was great. The room is as big as any european hotelroom around the same class. The communications was exellent, close to a Metro station made it easy to go anywhere in Tokyo plus they got an seven elevenstore right outside the door where you can buy other necessities if needed. Recommended hotel!

I am using japan rail pass, so i end up having to pay for metro subway rides because it is 4 minutes walk from Gimmond, instead of using the Yamanote Line Kanda Station which is free for me, but around 15 minutes walk. The hotel is located in a quieter part of town. Aircon is currently in hot mode so i end up not using it and instead opened the windows. Nice hotel overall.

Cleanliness - Typical Japanese-levels of hygiene which is excellent when compared to the rest of world. Facilities - Basic, nothing to shout about. The bathroom is puny. Service - Very polite. But I think only one staff spoke English. Had a tough time getting info when he was not on duty. Location - Good cos it is near Tokyo station. The main station for Shinkansen. About 700 yen by taxi, or one train station away. Pricing - The cheapest I could find that was near Tokyo station.
