Getting There & Around
Ulm is accessible by both land and air. There is a route from Bayern and Baden-Württemberg, as well as other regional railway stations in Germany, for visitors planning to visit the town by train. Flights are serviced by several airports, including Augsburg, Friedrichshafen, Memmingen, Munich and Stuttgart. From these airports, there are IC (Intercity) and ICE (Intercity Express) trains routed to Ulm.
Getting about the town’s centre by walking is easy since it is quite small. However, there are mini-buses and boat rides on the Danube River for exploring the town as well.
