Friedensengel is a fascinating district of Munich, located in the northeast quadrant of the Old Tow, which begins at Prinz-Carl-Palais and parallels Maximilianstrasse. This area is renowned for its impressive galleries, cafes (most with free wi-fi), upscale shopping, fabulous restaurants, and the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, a premier 5-star hotel built in 1856. Getting There

Friedensengel is easy to get to from other parts of Munich. Visitors coming from outside of the country can fly into the Franz Josef Strauss International Airport, which is about 30 kilometres northeast of Munich. Once in the city, travellers can ride a tram to the Friedensengel district, which is about 15 minutes away. Many locals and tourists also chose to bike around the city. There is a bike rental system in Munich, allowing visitors to use a bicycle to get to their destination and then return it. When you reach the neighbourhood, most of the attractions are within walking distance.
