Getting There

Air travellers to the area can fly into Munich International Airport, which services the surrounding area. Since the terminal is located just outside the city, visitors may need to take the S-Bahn train system to reach the city centre. Those are arriving by train can take the Deutsche Bahn directly into the city. To reach the Deutsches Museum, tourists may take advantage of several public transportation options, including the S-Bahn and the local underground subway system. Bus #132 and Trams #16 and #18 also offer direct travel to the Deutsches Museum.
