Getting There
Mannheim has a small airport that offers limited flights to and from Hamburg, Berlin and Saarbrücken, but you will likely land at the Frankfurt Airport if you are travelling by air. You can take the 30-minute ICE rail shuttle from the airport to Mannheim for only €25 or the airport shuttle bus for €35. Alternatively, you can use high-speed rails to travel to Mannheimfrom any major city in Germany, as this town is a regional hub for several carriers. There are international bus lines that travel from many parts of Europe to Mannheim as well. Once you arrive, you will be able to get around quite easily using the local streetcar system that connectsMannheim to other cities across the Rhine and Neckar rivers.
