Getting There & Around
The Leipzig/Halle Airport is just thirty kilometres from downtown Halle and can be reached easily by a ten-minute train ride from the airport. There is also train service from many surrounding cities most major German cities can be connected through the Leipzig Station.
The HAVAG street surface tram system is the popular method of transport in the city, but many ride bicycles when the weather permits.
