  • Visit one of the many museums of Frankfurt and enjoy a variety of exhibitions at the Geldmuseum der Deutschen Bundesbank, Archaologisches Museum, Kunsthalle Schirn and Museum Judengasse.
  • Travel via ferry on the Main river near Alstadt to view the metropolis’s skyline that includes the Main Tower, European Central Bank and Henninger Turm.

Getting There

The Frankfurt Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe and is the largest airport in Germany. Alstadt can be reached via the Underground station. Tramlines 11 and 12 also operate throughout the district, providing transport to a number of other areas within Frankfurt. Tourists are also able to travel along the Rheine and Main rivers via the Mainkai, the oldest harbour in the city. Should you be travelling by rental car, there are three bridges that lead in and out of the Alstadt district including the Alte Brucke, Eiserne Steg and Untermainbrucke.
