Bremenhas four distinct seasons with tolerable temperatures year-round. The summers and winters are not extreme, and the spring and fall months are very pleasant. The warmest months are usually July and August, but it is balmy and comfortable from May through September. Bremendoes not typically have freezing temperatures, even during the coldest winter months. Many people are comfortable visiting in the winter, but you will need a coat, hat and gloves if you visit Bremen after October. Getting There

You can fly into Bremenairport from most major German cities and be downtown within minutes by car, taxi or the convenient tram line. There is bus service from Groningen to Bremen’s central bus station as well. Right next door to the bus station isBremen’s train station, which offers service to cities all over the country. While train tickets are more expensive than bus fares for individuals, German rail lines offer group tickets that are quite economical. This is an excellent option if you are taking a family holiday, and solo travellers can find people to share group tickets on certain websites. You can also drive toBremen using Autobahn1 or A27. Car-sharing is a cheap way to travel long-distance in Germany, and it is good for the environment.
