We stayed here for one night in October and found the hotel ideal for a short stay.

This hotel is in a pretty good location on the outskirts of Temple Bar which means that it doesn't get the late night noise from the pubs but still really close that you dont have to walk far. The hotel is very basic though but I did appreciate that my room had a bath and it has tea and coffee making facilities.

Hotel was in perfect location, room was great but bathroom lacked something and the shower had low pressure. Reception was small and dark when I returned late at night.

The hotel is very clean rooms spotless and towels changed every day. The reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was lovely and the service in the breakfast room was 1st class. The location is very good for all main shopping, eating and drinking place in the centre.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Location central and convenient. Rooms getting a little tired in decor and fittings. Generally good value, though.

We were checking out on the day of the Dublin marathon and the hotel would not allow me to shower afterwards unless I paid 40 Euro more! There was a club downstairs that stayed open on Saturday until about 2 in the morning and several residents were unable to sleep because of the noise, not the place to stay at the weekend if you want to go to bed early. Breakfast was nice but very rushed by the staff and they didn't let you know the options.

The hotel was in a perfect location, with helpful staff. The room was like a typical American sized hotel room, with a private bathroom. Breakfast was good, there was free wifi and the night club was great.

Second time we have stayed at this hotel, for a budget hotel you get much more than most. We will stay there again. People on reception and the maids are very friendly and helpful. Although the cleanliness was not fantastic, just a little more effort with the bathroom would have made it good. The location is right on the edge of Temple Bar and Christchurch and is fantastic for being in the heart of things without too much disruption late at night. You can walk to the shops quite easily and you are on the open top bus route within 200m of the hotel lobby. All in all would highly recommen a stay here.

Excellent city centre location, exceptionally friendly staff and reasonably priced. The only fault I found was the bar area, the decor I found a bit tacky, but that is always a matter of personal taste. This was not my first time to stay at the G.F. Handel Hotel and it won't be my last.

Basic hotel but room was good size and the location made up for lack of amentities. We booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and was what we expected. Breakfast was good and we were quite happy with our stay.

Well located for our purposes: Sightseeing, shopping, nightlife. Some design features of the hotel surpriced first but we got used to them in a day.

Wonderful position and friendly staff - good breakfast and restaurant for simple meals attached. Bedroom was comfortable and quiet (at the back) but the furnishings were a little on the shabby side. Excellent value for money, I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Perfect situated hotel close to everything. It took less than an hour from the airport to our room. The breakfast is typical irish, egg, bacon, baked beans... and tea.

The pictures on the hotel's web page looked good, but the reality was different. It was supposed to be three star hotel but at least in Finnish rating I think it might have been barely one star.. service was ok, but the room smelled odd and was not in good condition at all..
