Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center Washington DC Guest Reviews
The location is an up and coming area. When all the shops and entertainment venues open this will be an amazing place. The hotel is big and the common areas are very attractive. The rooms are a little small and not up to par. The bed was passable. The pool was highly chlorinated. The shower pressure was just a slight sprinkle. The housekeeping service would wake you you up every morning at 8 am including weekends ( Not good) . The rest of the staff were very nice and friendly.

The facility is beautiful and your location was great. House keeping was an area that needs improvement. one day I do not think they ever came. my sikk and tube wher not wiped down and the last day they took my bath mat and did not replace it. non of these things are not earth shaking or deal breakers but I was not wowed either.

The Gaylord National Resort is a beautiful place to stay and is very convenient to Washington, DC. The restaurants are very expensive though.

I was at the hotel for a conference, and it turned out to be a great venue for a conference and as a hotel. The room was very large and very comfortable, and the service was great throughout my stay. Unfortunately National Harbor is fairly new and you do feel a little isolated, but in the end, it was the conference I was there for.

Beautiful new hotel and resort area still struggling to meet expectations. Room and check in service were acceptable, but lobby bar didn't open until 4pm with check in at 3pm. Recommend lobby bar open at 2pm. Checkout was a disaster - ended up calling in the checkout, waited nearly an hour for the car to be retrieved by the valet. Checkout was at 11am, but the shops in National Harbor (outside the Gaylord) didn't open until noon. We did get a refund for the valet car park service. Hotel charges $15 per day for amenities - whether you use them or not.
