It is a 4 star hotel but with an examplary staff that is exceptionally helpfull and knowledgeable about tours and restaurrants

La estadia en el Hotel Galerias fue muy agradable, la limpieza,ubicación y su restaurante excelente. El personal y muy cerca de todo. Catedral, casa de la moneda, Universidad Católica, parques, etc.

We recently stayed at the Galerias hotel in Santiago. It was centrally located and an easy walking distance to most of the sites we wanted to visit. The Hotel staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. We had a late flight and it was no trouble storing our gear for us. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good with plenty of fresh juice, fruit platters pastries and bacon and eggs. There was also free internet. Had a great time and would stay there again.

A decent but not great hotel. Service was generally good but the rooms could perhaps use a little renovation.
