Next to a building site (which i appreciate is not in the hotel's control) but it would have been nice to have been warned Very over-priced for the room. Dingy and dark, incredibly small shower-curtain frame, good breakfast

Generally we found the Gabbinano to be clean and the reception areas quite pleasant for this standard of hotel. Staff were generally friendly and helpful (manned 24hrs). The room was very basic and the décor somewhat dated (particularly the bathroom) although again clean. Our room overlooked the roof of kitchen and a building site next door although it was apparent that better rooms with better views were available within the hotel. A fairly major construction project has clearly just started immediately next door with a large tower crane located next to the hotel. As our stay coincided with the August shut down this was not a problem but would certainly be disruptive at any other time of year. On the plus side, the old town and harbour is just a short 5 to 10 min walk from the hotel along the sea front with the beech about 200m in the other direction (essential as there is no pool at the Gabbinano).

Friendly hotel in nice location on beach road. Easy walk in to old town or beach. Hotel is basic but will stay there again.

Did not enjoy my stay at this hotel at all. Too many hotel rules! Small "standard", cell like room. Hotel male staff rude. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend this establishment to friends, family.
