Good location with short walk to two MTR stations. Hotel lobby looking a little tired and dated. I was offered an upgrade and the room was nice, but the window looked out onto a brick wall and the room was therefore dark. My only negative thought regarding the room was the towels were a wearing thin. The pool was small for such a large hotel, and the gym was tiny and poorly equipped. I selected this hotel at a higher rate for these facilities and used neither. I would not regard this hotel as good value.

Location is great but hotel room is generally old and most things are not updated in the room except for carpet and TV. Staffs need to be more understanding to family coming with young kids before 9.00am to have a room ready within and not just say robotly that "room is available at 2.00pm". Luckily the manager is understanding enough to assist immediately. People in the service industry need to understand that all actions that they do represent the hotel as well as the country especially for hotels 3 stars and above.

It was an old hotel but have been refurbished and well maintained. Location was awesome as it was connected to peoples park center and stone throw to Chinatown MRT. Room was clean and comfortable bed. For Singapore's room standard, it was good size room. I love the bed sheets..

Be sure to have internet included in your rate as they charge S$25/hr in the lobby or S$25 for 24 hr room access - too expensive in this day & age!

Great hotel location, China town, foods & shops only steps away, $20 for taxi to air port. Tourist atractions close by, taxi cost very little, you can explore Singapore without paying tour fee.
