Location
The lodge is approximately 28 kilometres from the junction, just inside the National Park boundary, putting you as close as possible to the natural beauty of Freycinet.
Rooms
Stylish yet simple, all the cabins are designed to impart welcoming familiarity and warmth without the intrusion of telephones or television.
Restaurant
The Bay Restaurant is located in the main Lodge building with a panoramic view of Great Oyster Bay. Richardson's Bistro offers casual dining at reasonable prices, while Hazards Bar and Lounge is a great place to swap stories by the open wood fire in winter while sampling some of Tasmania's best boutique wines and beers.
General
Conference facilities are also available at this property. Recreational facilities include a library, TV lounge with Internet access, tennis court and a boule court. Alternatively, immerse yourself in a wide range of experiences including beachcombing, snorkelling, walks to spectacular coastal outlooks, cruising around the Peninsula, or enjoying freshly shucked oysters at a local farm.

A wonderful location to explore the national park. A TV would have been nice.

Very nice spacious room, spacious bathroom. We had water glimpses through the trees from our verandah. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Price did not reflect the additional cost of purchasing national park fees. Room was old and musty. But local was great. should have camped.

Freycinet National Park is a 'must see' on the island of Tasmania and Freycinet Lodge is right in the middle of it, offering a range of comfortable cabins that are overlooking or near the bay. Don't expect a lot unless you are staying in one of the premium cabins, but the point of being in Freycinet National Park is enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.
