Tahiti Climate

Tahiti’s tropical monsoon climate has two seasons. Although the wet season is from October to July, the rain mostly falls December through January; the dry season is from August through September. Regardless of the weather, the temperatures stay a consistent 72°F (23°C) to 77°F (25°C), making this the perfect getaway anytime of the year.

Getting There & Around

Flights to Tahiti land at the Faa'a International Airport, located near Papeete, the capital city. Upon arrival, visitors take various forms of ground transport to reach hotels and resorts.

On the island, tourists can walk, cycle or use Le Truck, a public, open-air bus that is dependable and affordable.
