Getting There & Around
There is an airport on the island serving flights from other islands in Tahiti. There is also boat service from Tahaa that leaves twice a day.
It would be easy enough to walk around Raiatea Raiatea Island, but most people rent scooters or bicycles to avoid the heat. Many people find guided bicycle tours are the best way to absorb the island’s history.
