Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Excellent hotel at bargain price. Room is clean and tidy. Bathroom is cool with handheld and overhead showers as well as bath tub. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, within walkin distance to twin towers, Pavillion and China Town. Highly recommended.

I was on a work/personal stop over with plans to return to Malaysia for a longer stay. Fraser Place had more than I needed on this trip but will be perfect for my next stop over. For the price it ticked all my requirements. Location, outdoor pool, breakfast, comfortable and free wifi. The Conceirge is the first to greet you and was always welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was buffet style with a small but varied options from hot English style, hot Asian style and continental.

Had a great 2 night stay at Fraser Place in KL - it was in an excellent location - close to monorail stations, walking distance to Petronas Towers, Bukit Bintang etc. Rooms were clean, comfortable and just about had everything we could think of needing. Pool was very handy in the hot, humid weather, and lovely spa / plunge pool and change rooms - which we made good use of after we'd checked out of our room. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends/family.

We have been to KL 4 times and have stayed at Fraser Place twice now. Great service apartment if you're travelling for business or with a young family. All the staff were very friendly, especially concierge. The hotel amenities were great - we loved the roof top pool, sauna, spa, gym, games room etc. The location was great - 5 mins walk to KLCC shopping centre and twin towers and 10 mins walk to the new Pavillion shopping centre and Bukit Bintang shopping district.

We stayed for 2 nights in late November. The location is great, just 5 minutes walk to KLCC and just behind the hotel is the "citywalk" where you can walk all the way to Butik Bintang easily and safely. The staff were friendly, especially the concierge who were extremely helpful and friendly - even happy to mind a bag for 6 days whilst we visited Thailand! Overall would definitely recommend the hotel, it doesn't have a full luxury hotel feel to it, but it is great value with very well designed rooms (and very good aircon which you absolutely need in KL!).

although it is an hour drive from the airport, this hotel is excellent in all respects. The room is spacious, newly decorated, with everything you could ask for. You can pay more for other hotels like the Hilton etc but you will be paying for their branding. The 'apartment' type room is well laid out with an exceptionally large bed, well appointed kitchenette and bathroom. The staff were all helpfull, nothing was too much for them. We found Fraser Place in Kuala Lumpur centrally located with easy access to all the key areas we wanted to visit. The Mono Rail was only about 10 minutes walk from there, and places of interest such as the Petronas Towers, shopping malls and eating place all within easy walking distances. No regrets.

This place isn't like a hotel. It's more like having your own little studio apartment with everything that you need as well as access to a good gym and a stunning infinity pool with great views over the city. Shops and transport are close by and you can eat in the restaurant or do your own thing in a small well equipped kitchen. The Petronus Towers and the big shopping mall underneath is about 5 minutes walk away and you can hop on a bus, train or monorail - all of which are close by.

It is a very nice apartment hotel for me to attend a conference in KLCC due to its proximity to the conference venue. Staff at bell desk were very helpful by directing me to the shortcut while they always secured a taxi in 5 minutes when I needed one. Room was clean and spacious as I was upgraded to a suite. Interior decoration was up to standard but not extremely luxurious. Nice for me as a regular traveller.

This hotel is in a great location, literally a few mins walk from KLCC train station, Suria KLCC shopping mall which includes a supermarket and pharmacy, Petronas Twin Towers and within walking distance to Bukit Bintang - either via road or by taking the undercover corridor walk from KLCC. There's also a tourist information centre just outside the hotel which is always handy. The concierge staff were fantastic. Welcoming as soon as you step out of the taxi and always willing to answer questions. Reception staff were not so friendly but efficient. Great room with an extremely comfortable, puffy bed and good sized bath/shower facilities. While I didn't use the kitchenette its certainly something I'd do when I next visit KL. I'd definitely stay there again.

Great place and upgraded to a 1bedroom deluxe room from studio. Close proximit to either KLCC or Bk Bintang. Only let down is the small pool size and jacuzzi which has got lots of room for improvement. Overall a great place and good value for money!

very cooperative personnel, Modern design, very clean. unfortunately between other high building so no view. Breakfast is just for breaking fast! not enough and not omnifarious. very good rooms everything is new and optimum. as an apartment it is very comfortable and equipped. many TV channels, high speed internet. Ideal for families with children. we became upset when they said that airport transfer service is not free of charge. Good access to both monorail and LRT, near KLCC. We stayed in Istana hotel first and then stayed in Fraser and experienced two really different and both good environments. I recommend this package to everyone.

We stayed here for one night and loved the room we were in! Very spacious, very comfortable, very high standard. The kitchen made us wish we were staying longer so we could have the chance to use it properly. The hotel was nice, clean and very centrally located, a short walk from the KLC towers & shopping center. The area the hotel was in was too busy and crowded however, and lacked charm. We didn't enjoy the hotel's restaurant, which was our only option for food late in the evening. The music was too loud and the food was nothing interesting. Would recommend this hotel for the rooms, particularly for a long stay guest, but wouldn't recommend it if someone is looking for a nicer area to stay in.

This 5 star hotel has confortable rooms (full serviced apartments) with kitchen. The amenities are the best; roof top pool with a beautiful view of the skyline, jacuzzi, and a modern gym. The included in the price breakfast is the best and the Wi-Fi and direct plug-in internet functioned well. The staff are helpful and extremely attentive. Also, the hotel is almost next door to the Petronas Towers and there are plenty of restaurants and mall close by. Well worth the price.

Hotel was almost faultless. The staff were exceptionally helpful, prompt and very, very polite and obliging. The doormen/porters were terrific and happy to impart good advice about travelling around the City and making recommendations on places to eat and see. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and were very happy with the utilities provided. The hotel is quite secure (key card needed to get to your floor) and the facilities are what one would expect from a 5 star hotel - laundry services, well-equipped gymnasium with headphones provided to plug into your treadmill whilst working out), 2 free games rooms with Playstation and we were offered a free 15 min massage in the salon on ground floor. The decor is amazing (check out the hotel reception with unusual bird cages). The hotel is only about 2 years old and has shown absolutely no signs of ageing whatsoever. The pillows on the bed are great - you get a set of hard and soft (four in total) and a massive king size bed that's incredibly comfortable. The only things I would suggest is that before you use the toiletries, check the pricing as they are not all complementary like other hotels (they're special branded products). When we stayed, there was much construction going on as the hotel is under expansion (ongoing until March 2012), so there was noise from 9-5pm. We were out of the hotel for most of that time, so weren't overly affected. If you get brekkie included in your deal, please note that it's very simple and not a full buffet breakfast. I tried the pancakes and they were quite hard and dry. Only options for eggs were scrambled (I prefer sunnyside up) and the juice seemed like cordial. On the whole, we loved our stay at the very new and modern Frasers Place and would definitely stay again. We ended up going to Hotel Maya for a couple of nights to try and were very disappointed. The photos they've uploaded on their site must, quite frankly be from when they first opened, as the hotel is ageing, in needs of repairs and some TLC. We were told it had changed ownership several times over the last ten years. We paid less for a newer hotel at Frasers Place! After this experience, I highly doubt that with the number of hotel options in this area, that we would return to Hotel Maya. ** Be VERY careful with taxi drivers in Kuala Lumpur. They haggle for prices even though there are clear signs in the taxis that prohibit that and often ask for over-the-top prices. We got told it would cost 20 ringgit from Chinatown to our hotel and flately refused. We ended up getting a metered taxi which only cost 4.80 ringgit. INSIST on having the meter on as soon as you get in or you could be in for a very nasty (and expensive) surprise. Some of these taxi drivers are brazen and downright aggressive. A couple of them openly challenged us to make a complaint, which we have since done. Be careful with each and every one BEFORE you get in their vehicle.

As I write this review I am staying in a 5 star hotel in a room which costs approximately twice the price of the Fraser but which is only half the size. The internet access was free in the Fraser but costs almost one USD per MINUTE!!. As they say, you don't know what you have got till it's gone and I wish I was still in the Fraser. Good location, great rooms, good facilities - to be honest it doesn't get that much better in KL. They are building/renovating at the moment so it is a bit noisy during the day but most people won't be in the hotel much during those times. I have no hesitation in recoomending this place.
