The Francis Hotel is in the ideal position to explore Bath. All the main sites are within walking distance. Hotels and restaurants are just around the corner. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. If you're driving their is also a carpark BUT at £15 per day the price is a bit steep.

Great hotel, the refurb is amazing, true attention to detail and luxury material, beautiful rooms and common areas - a truely great job. Very chic, boudoir boutique style Regency. Fab bathroom and 4 poster beds. Only let downs are the rediculous breakfast price (£20 pppn - should be half this max) and parking charge (£15) which as there are limited spaces they could add £1 to each room and class a first come first served.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Mecure Bath Francis Hotel. The location is in the centre of the historical part of town and just a short walk to many of the locations we wanted to visit - the Roman Baths, Bath cathedral, Sally Lunns, Jane Austen, Royal Crescent, Highgrove Store and more. While the hotel is old and was once houses, this is part of its charm. Parking at the rear was a bonus as we had hired a car. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic location, very pleasant hotel. Parking not included in price, but otherwise well recommended.

The hotel is well situated and the car park is useful - although parking is limited. We stayed in a downstairs room overlooking the car park - which was quiet but was not one of the refurbished rooms. The room required some updating - old t.v., carpets etc., although was large and was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.
