In the Champagne-Ardenne region of France, Reims is a city with a history that dates back to the Roman Empire. When To Go

Reim’s winters can be cold, whilst spring brings warmth and flowers. Summer is warmer, and the autumn season brings cooler temperatures. There is more rain in the winter than in the summer. Even though the temperatures are fairly moderate, those who travel to Reims should focus more on the city’s attractions, as opposed to the weather.

Getting There

By car, Reims is located 30 minutes from the Paris Roissy International Airport and approximately two hours from the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Driving or taking the train from either airport to the city is easy.

Once you are in Reims, you can rent a bike, take public transportation, take a taxi or drive a car. Trans Champagne operates the bus system in the region. There are also many tours you can take to view the city and the surrounding countryside. Hiring a bike allows you to see great views of the city.
