The peerless heritage landmark contains more than 3,000 works of art by Pablo Picasso, in addition to selections from the abstract master’s former personal collection. These include works by such eminent artists as Degas, Rousseau, Cézanne, Seurat, de Chirico and Matisse. All told, the priceless compilation of contemporary art at the Picasso Museum mingles seamlessly with the ornate details of the heritage Marais manor. Visitors will have to wait some time to enjoy the standout Paris attraction however. The Picasso Museum is currently in the middle of extensive renovations not set to wrap up until 2012.
