At 190 million passengers per year, the Gare du Nord train station in Paris is the busiest in Europe. Several urban transportation lines can be accessed from the Gare du Nord, including RER and Paris Metro. - Take the yellow line train from the Eurostar terminal at Gare du Nord in Paris to the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, or the Bastille.
- Take the TGV Line to Northern France to visit famous battlefields of World War I, such as Flanders and Picardie.
- Take the Disneyland Paris Express shuttle to Euro Disneyland, but be sure to book the shuttle in advance along with your tickets.
Getting There
Paris is served by Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Taxis and buses all go to the Gare du Nord and will have no trouble finding it. Parking is available for those with hired cars. Cars are available for hire in the area of the international airport, and also at various locations around Paris. Also, door-to-door transport services are available from private companies. Once there, you can take a train or bus to whichever destination you have in mind. Gare du Nord is also the hub for all trains coming to and from London via Eurostar.
