For tens of millions of annual visitors to the French capital, a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower is at the very top of the itinerary and indeed, a symbolic affirmation of their presence in the incomparable city. A considerable percentage of these tourists choose to get up close and personal with the three levels of the 324 metre tower, either by stairs or lift. Restaurants on the first two floors provide dramatic views of Paris, with multi-star Michelin chef Alain Ducasse running the show at Jules Verne on the second level.

The Eiffel Tower is open every day of the year. The best way to reach the Eiffel Tower is by bus, Metro (Bir-Hakeim, Trocadéro or École Militaire) or RER train (Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel).
