Cherbourg Climate
Cherbourg enjoys warm summers with highs rarely above 22°C in July and August, as well as winter lows rarely below 2°C in January. Rain is more common in autumn and winter, and some months have as much as 25 cm of accumulation.
Getting There & Around
If you drive from Paris or Caen, you will use the N13 motorway to Cherbourg. You can also take a train from the airport in Paris or use one of the coach lines if you do not rent a car. The city's busy seaport offers many ferries that travel the English Channel to other ports in France and the UK.
Cherbourg is easy to travel on foot, but there is a public bus system available from Zephyr.
