Chambord Climate
Chambord has the typical oceanic climate of central France. Average high temperatures peak at 25°C in August and drop to 6°C in the winter. It has some rain throughout the year and occasionally snow in winter.
Getting There & Around
You can drive from Paris taking the A-10 motorway to Blois, the capital of Loir-et-Cher, before turning off onto the D-112 road to Chambord. From Paris, there are shuttle buses that take tourists to the chateau. You can get trains to Blois from Paris, taking 1.5 hours, and then get a bus to Chambord.
If you are travelling around Chambord, there are buses connecting the major towns. Hiring a car is another option to tour this historic region with its many castles. There is a large car park at the chateau as well.
