Getting There
Carpiquet is located in the Bassie-Normandie region of north western France. One of the best ways of getting there is by bus; Bus Verts runs a regular and reliable service to the commune. Some tourists prefer to use a rental car, and Avis, Europcar, Hertz and ADA all offer services throughout the region. Visitors can also travel to the commune by taxi from Caen or other cities. Additionally, the Paris Cherboug train line passes by Caen, and from the train station, travellers can use a bus or taxi to get to Carpiquet.
