Apt Climate
Apt’s climate is typical of the south of France, with hot summers and mild winters. The average high temperatures peak at 30°C in July and August and drop to around 12°C from December to February. The wettest part of the year is in September and October.
Getting There & Around
Marseille Provence Airport is the nearest airport for international flights. As the fifth-busiest airport in France, it has plenty of flights arriving from around the continent. From Aix-en-Provence, which is close to the airport, you can catch buses to Apt daily, taking around 1.5 hours. There are also regular buses from Marseille.
As Apt is set in a fairly rural region, public transport links are not the best. There are buses throughout the area to the major towns and villages. You can also hire a car or get taxis.
