I would not recommend this hotel those who peferr comfortable stay. Rooms are very small, bathroom is awful. Breakfest is served in very strange manner, you shoould wait to be seated and after that wait to be served. Location is good. 5 minutes walk to Little India district, 30 minutes walk to Colonial District and Boat Quyaes.

It is actually a convinient place. I have my comment that the smell of the toilet is not that good. It smell like the downspout of the pipe is releasing inside, the trap must be check.

I was once again made very welcome at the hotel. I did arrive a little earlier than I should thinking I would just leave my bags and head off for the day, however the staff found a room for me. For some reason I was not expecing breakfast for the price I paid howvever it included breakfast. I was very impressed with the the staff at the "Good News" cafe, very friends and remaind patient with some of the guests that I would have not been so patient. I don't know how many languages you can use to wtite "please wait to be seated" but a lot of people either could not read or just chose to ignore the sign and head off where they wanted. The staff were very good at handling this situation. I brought them a box of Chocolates for their patience. I had five days there and would have liked more hanging space rather than just live out of a suitcase but what more can one expect for the price, location and the friendly staff. I even got a chance to use the pool, what a great way to relax after a busy day. Great job everybody!

I chose the Fragrance Hotel Selegie over the Ibis, which was similarly priced, for the option of being able to use the pool. Unfortunately I didn't end up using the pool and I was disappointed with the small room, small bed, small wet room, and spot-stained blanket. On the plus side the room was otherwise very clean, the hotel is only a few hundred metres from Little India MRT station and taxis are very easy to catch right out the front.

As in a previous stay, I noted, and was well aware of the smallnes of the romm, however it was value for money, and I only slept in the romm, once the lights are out one cannot tell how big the room is, The bed was comfortable after a busy day in Singapore and that was important. I will stay again when next in Singapore providing the cost does not go up
