Overall staff services was good, but the room size is too small, blanket was old and not clean, toilet was not clean. toilet is too small and cannot sit on the commode.

Hotel room was small and compact as per most cheaper Singapore hotels. Queen Bed, Desk, Wardrobe and combined Sower/Toilet/sink area as the bathroom. Perfect Hotel room if you use it as a base to sleep. 15 mins walk from the MRT station or a couple of dollars in a Taxi. In a safe, clean area good food in the hawkers market a few mins walk up Ballister Road. Staff were friendly and helpful. All front Desk staff are multi lingual. Great alternative to the cheap and nasty hotels of the red light district i have previously stayed at.

-There's small cockroaches crawling beneath the bed. -The water heater needs time to be heated and need to control the water temperature from time to time during bath. -Not near enough to MRT.

first, the room is small, then the first time we move in the room is smelly, after the air con was on, then the smell gone. then the towel is not clean. after we have shower, all the floor was wet, they don't have towel in front of their bathroom.

Cleanliness speaking, the hotel is very good. The location is also good. However the room is small (we stayed in superior room), only 2 medium sized persons can moved in the room comfortably. They are also very strict with the 12:00 noon check-out time. Overall, fine hotel.

The hotel staff are very friendly, though the room is a little small but none the less, its a good deal if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in Singapore. Keep up the good work!

A good, reasonably priced, clean hotel, well-located in terms of transport and friendly, helpful staff. We would stay there again. if we visit Singapore.

The room was small but very clean, for the price paid it is a good deal, specially for traveler that will spend most of the day sightseeing, the taxi from Novena station costs SGD 4, I recommend this hotel.

Neat and clean rooms though a bit small. The hotel was absolutely full so I could not be given an early check in. Had to wait until 1415 till I was given a room. The receptionists were friendly.10 mins walk to Farrer Park and Novena MRT stations. A lot of eating joints and convenience stores around the place. Overall good for the price paid.

It is located in a not so pleasant neighbourhood but the cleanliness and price makes up for it.

There is one unique thing missing from our room...a window which makes it difficult to decide when the sun has come up. Outside of that, this is not a bad place to stay for the price. The hotel is quite a distance from Orchid road, about 20 minutes by bus and is not located near an MRT station.

its cheap but living in shoe box aint fun and no windows and they've never heard of early check in so you have to sit around and wait until 2.00pm even if your flight got in that morning and you told them that on the booking form.

Great Value Hotel a little out of the way halfway between Novena & Newton MRT Stations. Taxi ride about $3.30. I stayed 6 nights. Housekeeping was very good and room was spotless. Room size is small but if you are out most of the time not a problem. You have your own hot water switch for the shower which produces heaps of hot water. Toilet is located in the shower bit odd but works fine. Room had TV, Coffee making facilities & hairdryer. No remote for the TV. Reception Staff were not particularly helpful, Room was on the fourth floor very quiet.
