Worst stay ever-first of all, I booked on line and booked room with breakfast-when I got there, they told me breakfast was not included and only agreed it was after I showed my confirmation email, not a good start-then found a used sanitary pad in the bathroom bin-they offered me another room, then down graded me-then had a hotel room attendant walk in on me half dressed with no knock, just opened the door with his key and came straight in. When I booked my room, I rang the hotel to ask for a good room as it was a special occasion and I really wanted a great night and they certainly gave us an unforgettable night-this hotel should not be a 5 star hotel.please be careful if looking to stay at this hotel.

Great location. Hotel receptionists were helpful to accommodate our request for early check in. Most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful. However, the Grain Bar's staffs made several attempts for every 2 minutes to kick all guests out of the bar by midnight even though they still had to finish their drinks which are already paid for, making the guests feel like they were there begging for free drinks. Buffet breakfast was basic, nothing special but charged at AUD40 per head. Upon check out, our hotel room charge came up, even though it was all pre-paid when making reservation. It took 15 minutes for them to fix the billing problem, while we were rushing to go to the airport. Overall, we never experienced such poor quality in any hotel of this brand like this before, and wouldn't recommend anyone or going back.

room was pretty clean. the maid did a really good job every day. the pool is under renovation. it was small and disappointing. check out was quick. a new bar has opened downstairs - nice atmosphere. close to decent places for dinner. nice view of harbour bridge and opera house

Hotel great. We did not eat at the hotels restaurant as there were lots of cheaper options in the area. Would like to have had the odd breakfast at the hotel but prices too high.

To wait over 5mins for an elevator is ridiculous. This happened 4 times . Check in & out was slow. On check in I was told we were being upgraded ( if we want to wait for 1.5hrs ! What a joke ! Will never stay here again Noises from the next room were very loud. When room service delivered to our room, the staff member even made comment !
