Four Points By Sheraton Milwaukee North Guest Reviews
The hotel staff was pleasant and the room was clean, but there was a sense of disorganization everywhere. From bigger things like confusion about when the shuttle was coming and going, to little things like the staff forgetting to put bottled water in the room. Everyone was extremely polite, but flakey and not really in a hurry to remedy any problems or challenges. For instance, I couldn't get the wi-fi to work in my room and was told to call a seperate hotline for tech support (finally got it to work on my own, but only once, and then it didn't work the rest of the stay). Then the television signal in my room made about half of the channels fuzzy. I was told that maintenance could look at it tomorrow, but then no one ever came by. The shuttle said he was on his way (five minutes from the hotel), then we waited about 35 mins for him to get there. And when I initially called from the airport to arrange for the shuttle, the customer service rep wasn't very forthcoming or helpful about directing me to the shuttle pick-up area. I had to call twice to make sure I was in the right spot. My keycard constantly needed to be reset too. A minor nuisance, but twice in two days was a bit much. Several teenage basketball teams were staying that week too. The rowdy boys took full advantage of the free computer access in the lobby. Normal, but loud comments about girls, sports, etc. could be heard. Conversation much more geared toward a dorm room or locker room. I was surprised that management didn't ask them to keep it down. But that was another issue - there were always two or three staff members floating around the desk area, but no one ever took charge. I think that was likely the biggest problem. The hotel felt much like it was run by a junior crew, rather than by a professional management team. All in all nothing was terribly wrong, but nothing was terribly right either. I prefer to stay in hotels that make my stay with them and my comfort a priority. I don't expect customer service to bend over backwards, but I do expect attentiveness to my needs (I'm truly a very low-key traveler!). I will likely not stay there again.

It was my first time at this place and I really felt at home. Staff were great and hotel was very clean. I will be back to this hotel any time I am back in Milwaukee.

Kind of a typical business hotel. The room (king suite) was very nice. Two flat screen TVs. The freed appetizers at the evening reception were good. The best part is the pool/workout area. Indoor and outdoor pools with hot tub. Also have a dry sauna that worked well, and the fitness room is a little bigger and has nicer equipment than most hotel workout rooms.
