Fori Imperiali Cavalieri Hotel Rome Guest Reviews
This is a basic hotel, as far as facilities are concerned, and does not claim to be anything else. Room is very clean and adequate ( book double, not single, as single very small!), and breakfast is good. The best thing about the hotel, though, is the location - in the centre of the old city, at the bottom of Via Cavour, and within minutes of the Colisseum and the Forum. Beware - do not ask directions from Internet maps; mine were very complicated. In fact, follow the Via Cavour all the way from Termini to iys bottom, and the hoyel is signposted at the bottom. All in all, an excellent base from which to explore the old city of Rome.

Small Friendly, ideal location

i struggled to find a hotel in Rome as there are so many to choose from. i was over the moon with this hotel. the rooms are quite small ( but they all are in Rome) but they contain everything required for a comfortable stay. the staff are very friendly and will provide anything required such as extra pillows. the best thing though about this hotel is the location. it is literally 2 mins away from the coloseum. there are some bars opposite the coloseum and we found it so relaxing to sit there at night as the coloseum is all floodlit. very romantic. i would definatlely stay here again and would def reccomend to others.

Excellent location and a hearty breakfast with lots of choice such as yoghurt, fruit, hard boiled eggs, toast etc as well as the usual croissants and coffe. The location near cheap takeaway food oultes and the roof garden enabled you to have a budget meal to bring home and eat on your own private setting with a view of the colliseum and rooftops of Rome without being rushed in a busy expensive restaurant which are always crowded.
