This hotel is in the heart of Temple Bar so a great location if you are not planning to drive. The bars on Temple bar are great and the local irish music is wonderful. The only down side of the hotel was the overwhelming smell of sewage coming from the shower. Hotel did offer to move us but as it was our last night we didn't feel like messing about with the move. No bar in the hotel but that is not an issue as temple bar is FULL of great bars.

I took my partner to Dublin for a surprise getaway and couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel choice. Great accommodations, friendly & professional staff, and a central location made this a wonderful birthday treat!

This updated hotel with newly renovated rooms is centrally located making it easy to walk to everything Dublin has to offer. While the lobby was not yet finished the rest of the hotel offered modern, clean rooms and an outdoor area where you can sit and relax. No restaurant on premises but there is a huge selection of places to eat as soon as you step outside. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to Dublin.

The Fleet street hotel is in a really great location. The reception was being worked on but that didn't stop the hotel from being nice and clean and tidy, and staff always being present. Good value for money. Would stay again.

Great location, a few minutes from Grafton and O'Connell Streets. Bed very comfortable although rooms are on the smaller side..The hotel is under refurbishment so there was a little bit of work going on in the reception but not enough to affect our stay. Our room was one that had been refurbished so it was very fresh and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, location, location! Perfectly placed right in the middle of Temple Bar district. While it is an old hotel, the rooms are kept clean and comfortable. Street noise is kept to a minimum with double windows. Staff friendly and nice. Would stay there again.

For the price you pay you know it is not a top hotel. It was clean enough and fresh towels each day. Good location if a bit noisy but if you book in Temple bar area you expect noise. I would not take my wife here though but for a group of guys it was ok.

Hotel is a little tired in place admittedly but most of Dublin is tired as its so old. The location was absolutely superb and price was very reasonable. Room and bathroom was huge and beds were very comfy. The pub underneath The Palace Bar is a brilliant local to go in before starting the day wherever your heading too. Will definetly stay here again and will request same room ;)

Ideally located hotel, only a couple of minutes walk from Grafton Street and many pubs and clubs. The hotel room was very clean and spacious which was very surprising considering how inexpensive the booking was. Everyone in the hotel was very friendly and happy to help. Highly recommended.

Superb location and what a price ! Main problem is you can't phone out from the bedroom. You must buy a phone card and call from reception. That's simply ridiculous. Apart from that, it is a nice little hotel in the right part of town.

The Hotel is ideally located for thos attending events at Trinity College. Building exterior is spoilt by the presence of a large disused Bar on the ground floor; it makes the premises look derelict! Inside the premises are very clean, reception staff were freindly and helpful. Internet is available in reception and via wifi in the bedrooms. It is so close to the college that a good signal is available from the college netwook. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel. There are many excellent places to eat at a wide range of prices. My wife and I would be happy to stay there again.

I booked before reading the reviews and to be honest I was a bit scared at first.. But when we got there is was ok.. the staff was friendly and the sheets and towels were clean! If your looking for the best location with out the high price this is it!! if you are on your honeymoon probaly not your place! But if you going to temple bar and looking to party it is the right place! Clubs and bars just out side the front door! I give to thumbs up for anyone under 30! If your looking for a classy Joint, lets face it, it's not going to be 35 euros a night!! oooh and it had no bed bugs!!!!! :)

Brilliant place to stay, very helpful staff, don't judge the first impressions as you come into the hotel, its a bit jaded and in need of a redecorate, but the rooms are very comfy, have everything you need. Word of warning, take ear plugs, because Dublin City Council like nothing better than to clean the steets next to the hotel!!! At 3 or 4 in the morning, continously!!! road sweepers are not the quiestest of animals! I really enjoyed my stay, would go back again definately, highly recommend the spexial offers in the Thunder Road Cafe across from the Hotel, time it right and you could enjoy a lovely meal for 2 for €9.95!! bargain.
