Construction noise from hotel sounded like a jackhammer IN our room at 6.30am each morning. Front desk staff were very rude and arrogant and told us that we were definitely told about construction upon booking (despite having booked through this website which mentions nothing about it). We eventually got moved to somewhere "without noise" but there was still noise there too. Construction is expected to go for another year or two, so I wouldnt recommend booking for a while until it is finished. The room was OK - not amazing, but not bad either. During my stay a few things went missing as well from the room. I'd stay somewhere else, like Caesars palace or MGM, where I have had good stays before. The flamingo needs to review the way it treats its customers.

There are in the middle of the strip. Good location for walk to the left and right of the hotel along the strip. Room is very new and clean.

When we arrived only smoking rooms was availible. I explained that my guest and I do not smoke and asked if it was strong? The Flamingo Rep said that would depend on how much the previous guests smoked. She offered to have the room "refreshed" by staff. Plus she gave us the strip view which was nice. No fridge, but a small bucket for ice. Free soaps & shampoo.

Well we arrived tired but excited to think "Bugsy" Segals Hotel and we are here, to meet our friends and get remarried! On arrival very tired after 15 hour flight, we found the hotel staff, in particular the women, were not helpful at all, soooo dissapointed, did not explain things, did not activate the cards so had to go all the way back to the resv desk and stand in line again to get them done, just not good enough at all. Made us feel like we were making them work. The room was nice, spacious, and clean however when booking we were under the impression the view should have been different, I have found with the booking system that the description of what you finally get is alot different than first impression, and the hotel make no bones about saying that. Got sick and tired of being accosted by the timeshare people and will not stay there again because of this, told them we were owners but everyday everytime we walked past, they get you, we spent more time trying to find alternate routes to leave the hotel so as not to come into contact with these vultures with there promises of free dinners etc etc but you have to sit through all these presentations. That was the worst thing about this hotel. I paid for the ceremony at the wedding chapel, they did not play the music we asked to have played, they overbooked so we had to leave abruptly after the service, they did not have the champagne for our guests that we asked for and paid for, and did not even have ours open, as we asked for, so all in all double checking does not work with this hotel, very dissapointed in that, as it was a special special day. So yes stay here if you dont mind timeshare sales people, and if you are not getting married, everything else was great, food, nightlife, casino, location, and yes would stay here again if it was just a holiday and not a function.

This is the second time we have stayed at Flamingo and we enjoyed it again. The check in line is still an issue here and we had a 45 min wait. The location is super, right in the middle of the strip and easy to access busses. The new express has a stop at Paris which is a short walk. We love the gardens and pool and there is now a food court off the main cassino. Our room looked at Caesars Palace fountains and we could see Bellagio fountains as well. It was a little noisy at night. We stayed 15 nights and would repeat again.
