a lot of noise because of people walking in front of the hotel. building is under renovation, did not influence servicelevels.

The rooms really missed a coffee machine. Location was very near to Nytorv area, 5 minute walk from bus stops and shops. Lots of building works going on at the minute outside the hotel which will improve the area. Staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is a cold buffet with hot bacon and scrambled egg. Would stay there again.

The carpets needed cleaning. The building needed overall maintenance. The breakfast was below average. There was a smell of smoke everywhere. We will not stay there again.

The only nice point is the location in the centre of Aalborg. I knew a lot of hotels in Aalborg but this one was disgusting. If you compare the rooms of the First hotel with the Vandrerhjem, you would like to stay in the Youth hostel. I paid 800 DKK and it was minimum 500 DKK to much for this horrible room. To bad, that pictures here are not possible to show the room here.
