Finisterra Hotel Cabo San Lucas Guest Reviews
The location of the Finisterra is perfect. It is within walking distance to Marina, and multiple restaurants. The view from the room was awesome. The staff at the Palapa located in the swimming pool area were fabulous. The bartenders, waiters and waitress were great. They were all very friendly. The hotel is dated and needs to be upgraded. The TV's in particular are old and only have about 4-5 viewable channels. The AC is our room was noisy when it came on and off, but it worked well. The food in the Blue Marlin restaurant was very good. I had the beef medallion dish, and it was more like two petite fillets, not medallions. The dish was excellent.

Plane from PHL delayed such that I could not make connection in Phoenix, and there were no alternative to get to Cabo San Lucas. Notwithstanding that, I have stayed at the Finesterre several times, and it is a fantastic hotel and offers a great value proposition. Unfortunately, I did not know until after the cancellation deadline that I could not come, so I had to forfeit the entire room cost. However, c'est la vie - no one was at fault. I will stay at the Finesterre on my next trip. Much better than Casa Del Mar or La Esperanza.

We have been owners here at Finisterra for several years , this was the first time we extended our stay using the hotel, I love the pools, the quick walk into town, and the cleanliness of the entire facility, oops did I mention the room service till late at night? for when I get a chocolate craving.. yummy chocolate cake

This was our second stay at Hotel Finisterra. We stayed here last year along with another couple to attend Sammy Hagar's Birthday Bash week. This year's stay was for the same event. We enjoy this hotel because its the best of both worlds (within walking distance to downtown and marina area yet well removed from all the loud partying we have heard about in other hotels during this event). The hotel's beach is on the Pacific Ocean side, although the current does not allow for swimming, its great for long walks and best of all NO PEOPLE SELLING STUFF. This is our "preferred resort" for Cabo! It has three large pools with a poolside bar and restaurant. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Only down side: the air conditioner doesn't' have an auto setting; it's either on or off which is noisy when sleeping. The breakfasts at the restaurant and lunches poolside were excellent .
