Fiesta Inn & Suites Santa Barbara Guest Reviews
Staying at the Fiesta Inn was a horrible experience. The room was dirty, cramped and uncomfortable. There were NO amenities at all. The staff was rude and unaccomodating. Overall, one of the worst hotel experiences yet.

This is an older motel. But, for the money it's good. Nothing fancy. But, this is Santa Barbara and it is on State Street, good location. If all you are doing is staying overnight and need a place to sleep, good for the money. So as I said for the money you can't go wrong.

The hotel was ok but I think for that price you can find something better .You need to know that if you arrive after 10 pm there will be no one there and you have to call to get someone to check you in.

My boyfriend and I were looking for something close to the shops and restaurants on State Street and this was the closest. We were in town for one night for a lacrosse tournament and did not want to spend a lot, so the Fiesta Inn was ok in that regard. Luckily we are not very picky people who are easily appalled. Upon arrival we checked in in the office which was actually the easiest check-in ever. The man at the desk simply asked my boyfriend to fill out an index card with his name and address and then handed us two room keys. In this 30 second exchange, I discovered that this 5'x6' office was also where the "continental breakfast" must be. There was a Belgian waffle iron and a mahine that must pump out a waffle batter sitting right next to the front desk. Might have been really tasty, but we did not get the chance to try it. Then we walked up to our room where the only real disappoint on the way up there was the dilapidated condition of the premises. I'm assuming this is under consideration to them because half of the parking lot is filled with old mattresses and furniture, as though they are remodeling. The room itself was ok, two double beds, a dresser, a built-in desk area, a walk-in closet that you could hardly get to because the door only opened 6 inches before it hit the bed, and a microwave. Another sign of remodeling is that the room had two tv's in it. One was a nice flat screen hanging on the wall over the dresser and the other was an old one on a desk in front of the door that would adjoin our room to the one next door. The flat screen was not working yet, so we used the old one, which was perfectly ok for the short time we actually spent in the room. The only real disappointment, besides the condition of the property, was that the light in the bathroom was well on it's last leg. It definitely needed a new fluorescent light rod installed because at its brightest it maybe emitted about the same amount of light as the moon shining through a window. The bathroom was very dark. Overall, this motel was just fine for what we needed it for, but I would not recommend it if you are looking for the more beautiful side of Santa Barbara. It definitely has a lot of potential and I hope that the remodeling is on the up and up. Also, there is a good breakfast spot about a block or two down the street called Garretts.

Hotel well located, not far to the centre, restaurants and pubs. Large parking, room ok but a bit old fashioned. No breakfast room, you have to bring your coffee and marmelade in the bedroom.
