Location
Favehotel is situated on Cenang Beach, about five kilometres from Langkawi International Airport. While in this part of Malaysia, holidaymakers can visit the mausoleum of Makam Mahsuri and the beautiful lake in the island of Dayang Bunting.

We stayed at the Fave for 6 nights and found it really good. A new hotel only 5 months old, was in a good location..5 min walk from Pantai Tengah beach and about 10min walk from Cenang. Staff was really good and the pool was nice along with breakfast which was alright. All in all a good hotel and good stay. Room was missing Mini Fridge in room which was the only real negative.

Just came back from the hotel yesterday, with memories still vivid in my mind, I'm writing this review. Upon my arrival at the hotel, rain started falling, so my girlfriend and I decide to wait for the rain to stop while enjoying the beautiful room (we never expect it to look virtually as good as the pictures) and the peaceful scenery from our room window, overlooking paddy grass field with a few buffaloes on the further end, and a beautiful swimming pool underneath our room. The rain don't stops after an hour past, so we decided to ask the concierge whether the hotel sells any umbrella. The staffs were friendly beyond my expectation, they have umbrellas prepared for their guests and even offered to drive us to our desired restaurant F.O.C. It is recommended that you rent a car if you choose to stay at this hotel. Famous eateries along Chenang Beach such as Red Tomato, Orchid Ria and etc are quite distant (30 mins walk) from the hotel. The room is fairly clean, well furnished and comfortable to stay in. Basic toiletries are provided with 2 complimentary bottles of water everyday. The best things about this hotel are their service, staffs are friendly. The buffet breakfast also exceed our expectation. The pool is a bit shallow, but very clean, and perfect for family with young kids. Overall, the hotel is best in its class as a budget hotel, the best value for money.

10mins walk to beach. 20MR to Airport and 24 to Jetty Point. Room is new and super clean with fee wifi. DO NOT BOOK A RENTAL CAR @ Kuala Kedah Jetty Point. We get ripped off after arriving Lankaiwei and lost 20MR deposit. The guy were trying give us a very old car instead Toyota Vios as agreed on. And 20 MR extra for airport drop off. And they wanna another 40MR for Vios. Just pick up a car once you arrived at Lankawei. Don't waste your money on the Kuala Kedah agent.
